@mastodonmigration Ah-ha! So I opened the link on my Android phone and it shows your Test Collection #1 post/page!
Discussion
@mastodonmigration @MastodonEngineering When I click your link I see a list of accounts to follow. Although, I follow all of these already!
@Krumple_Footskin @MastodonEngineering
That's interesting. You'd think it should say Unfollow. What happens if you click the button?
@mastodonmigration @MastodonEngineering I think it's because I use phanpy as a client, and the collections link opened in a browser window referencing mastodon.online. I wasn't logged in to that instance. There was a login and create account button at the bottom. Is this supposed to work across instances, or not really?
@Krumple_Footskin @MastodonEngineering
Certainly it is, but it is a new feature currently in limited release testing, so it is reasonable to expect some issues.
@mastodonmigration yeah they said in the design post that they're not letting you "follow all" yet at least, subject to feedback. Also not much in the way of discovery but that's coming later.
Personally I'd like to be able to get all users in a collection put into a list with one click more than just one click follows.
@ikuturso @MastodonEngineering
100% on the loading the collection members into a list!
@ikuturso @MastodonEngineering
OK, was just going for the intuitive experience and kind of got confused.
@ikuturso @MastodonEngineering
What does it look like on your account if you click the collection link?
@mastodonmigration I see the the list of accounts with follow buttons (or unfollow in case I already follow). It looks exactly the same as when you view your own collection yourself I think.
Here is what it looks like from an alt account on mstdn.social...
@mastodonmigration Can you share that link from the first paragraph (/collections/11...)? The screen shot is just the Collections intro page.
@mastodonmigration My bad. I was looking for the list of five accounts.
