And I think the reason it's all happening at once like this has a lot to do with Trump's belief that he had popular support, or could at least manufacture popular support, by attacking Iran. That hasn't worked out and I think Downmarket Mussolini is looking reality in the face - the GOP will be wiped out in fair midterms and then people in his admin might start going to jail. I don't think he's prepared to let that happen - he knows he'll lose the "fair" way, so it's full Hitler time.
Like in recent weeks they've targeted a Virginia State Rep (Senator) for, doing a redistrict bill just like the ones they started this mess with in Texas. They arrested a scientist who debunked their pet lab leak theory. They pulled the visa credentials from employees of papers in the FUCKING DOMINICAN REPUBLIC because those papers reported on the corruption of their nazi allied president there.
