Yeah, I also sometimes do a quick "three degrees of separation" on these things, and am often unpleasantly surprised what that turns up.
Kinda disappointed in The Guardian for not doing that for me. But as a USAian who has given up on NYT and WaPo, and had thought I'd found a good replacement in The Guardian, I've more and more been noticing them doing silly missteps. Bummed.
