@GeofCox I wouldn't myself describe Starmer as centre left, given the state repression and support of genocide.
Me neither - but he is unfortunately identified as such in the media and the general public view - and self-identifies as centre-left.
I see little difference in domestic policy between Merz, Starmer and Macron whatever they're called - the fact is they are broadly content with the status-quo in terms of the economic system basics, and therein lies the problem, because more and more groups of voters are not content with the status-quo.
