Sonex Contour wall panels come in a variety of designs. that one with the half-diagonal grooves is the Spectrum. there's also the Panorama, with two groups of diagonal grooves, and the Vision, with two overlapped/crossed groups of two
now you might think "oh these are just a star trek or TNG thing, not a scifi thing" but you'd be wrong! babylon 5 used these as the distinctive wall decor of MedLab
here you can see teal Sonex Contour Spectrum's behind Dr Franklin in MedLab 1, on the wall of the exam area of the medlab
these may not in fact be Sonex's but rather vacuformed plastic copies, as you can see from this thread where someone bought an actual panel from a Babylon 5 set, and it was a vacuformed styrene panel
copying was probably cheaper than buying Sonex's
