Here's the object that he was talking about, which https://www.heavens-above.com/orbit.aspx?satid=68765 . Hard to know if it's BB7 because Space Force (I still always feel like I need air quotes when I say that name) is very slow on cataloguing the bazillion new satellites these days...

There must be an error, that video is about billionaires polluting the night sky, I want the goat cuddling video.

One of the people watching mentioned in chat that BlueBird 7 (one of those fucking terrible stupidly bright and loud AST SpaceMobile satellites that failed to achieve the right orbit) will likely burn up in the atmosphere today (what a fucking waste). I can't find info about it though... Anybody know?

You can sign up to space-track dot org (US government with all relevant caveats) for relatively definitive data on re-entries.
@sundogplanets I believe that you can follow Jonathan McDowell’s BlueSky account via the bridge system without getting a BlueSky account.

According to https://www.satcat.com/sats/68765 and https://celestrak.org/satcat/table-satcat.php?CATNR=68765&MAX=500, AST Bluebird 7 decayed (entered atmosphere) (using active de-orbit) on April 20.
@sundogplanets Was it the blueorigin launch last month that delivered its payload to the wrong orbit?
@sundogplanets At scientific conferences starting on a Sunday, I always had enormous respect for those who gave up their time to make presentations.
@sundogplanets I like to look for that person or small bit of information that I wouldn’t have seen or heard if I hadn’t gone and it sends me on a whole new thought trajectory.
