@ConnertheCat Yes, I'm still using them and I still like them. I still use equalizer settings to make music sound the way I like, though (either system-wide using SoundSource or the dedicated equalizer in the Music app).
@siracusa Excellent, thanks for the feedback. I plan on using Soundsource for the reasons, so not a huge issue there.
