Once upon a time, there was a company that offered low-quality solutions to its customers.
There was little planning and a weak technical foundation. The management team did not invest in its staff.
Then generative AI came along.
The leadership was impressed. The answers seemed convincing, fast, and, most importantly, cheaper.
So they changed course. Strategy by trend. Decisions were made based on magic suggestions. Roles were cut or replaced. There were fewer specialists and more “efficiency.”
For a while, it seemed like progress.
