a designer called ky has made a softened version to more closely resemble printed text - thanks to @synte for introducing me to their website (which has a guestbook, which seems a successful way to improve the tone, now comments are so troubled)

@dajb @synte it's such a vivid typeface, so much so it has spawned several weights and variations, including a monospace one which I'm going to pop in my terminal now!
