Male fragrance sections at shops are always so sad. Would you like to smell like you just downed a bottle of gin, like a leather couch, or like you were sitting on the wrong side of a campfire? Women get all the nice fruits and flowers. This stuff shouldn’t be gendered anyway like most things.

@Gargron I have been saying: Women’s shampoos are “peach” and “rose”, men’s shampoos are “tires” and “punch in the face”.
@Gargron
I wanna smell like the ocean, like pine forest, like fresh wood ;D
@Gargron is there a reason you can’t just buy the fragrance you prefer? I get the issue with gendered marketing but I think just buy what pleases you.
I would very much like it, if more women smelled like campfire istead of whatever they are spraying now...
@Gargron I miss Candie's for Men, the original from the 90's/2000's. It was a fresh, fruit-forward cologne with top notes of watermelon, but it was discontinued in the late 2000's. The online fragrance retailer FragranceNet makes a clone of it called "Exceptional... Because You Are" that's relatively close.
There's also a website called Fragrantica.com that has a search tool where you can tell it what sort of notes you are looking for or an existing fragrance that you like and it'll give you a list of suggestions to try. I've found several fragrances I like that way! And there are a number of men's fragrances that are fruit or floral-forward still in production that it can help you find!
@Gargron Issey Miyake Pour Homme and Clinique Happy For Men might cheer men up. A bit.
@Gargron I prefer musk. who wouldn't want to smell like an ox penis?
@Gargron That’s about what you can smell. The real reason of using fragrances is to feel attractive. Pheromones is the answer! You cannot smell these but they can certainly be effective: go round your genitals with your hands and then rub your neck and face. Have a pleasant evening going out without sofas, cigars, tar, motor oil or roses! 🥳😎😉
P.S. I never tried it myself but my friend did😂😂😂
@Gargron Paul Sebastian is pretty nice.
Clothing is sad too. I distinctly remember that back when we had H&M in this country, one of their largest stores in the city was 3 floors of roughy equal area, of which the bottom two were for women, and the top one was split about in half between men and kids. Other brands aren't as drastic, but they still usually devote very noticeably more floor space to women than to men.
@Gargron Yeah, I dont know why we need to smell like booze and leather. The only fragrance shop that I need is the bath and body aisle of my local grocery store. Brut Classic by Faberge has stood the test of time. It's a good clean smell that lasts a long time and it's cheap. That's the smell of a working man right there.
@Gargron Ladies get the best shoes too, in my experience. Too many times I've been intrigued by styles that turned out to be women's only. Maybe I want to wear something fun and colorful. 👟
@Gargron
Anything's better than an overdose of Old Spice! 🤮
@Gargron Male fragrances on my commute trains are far worse, even on early morning, trust me.
