@iamkonstantin I’ve had a charger that does similar. Some cheap IKEA charger that got confused about which port I was trying to use. But never happened device based.
@JonGretar Yeah not a 3rd party charger here and I've tried all sorts of things to troubleshoot it but I just decided to ride it out until it's time for a new one ... in 2-3 years :D

it's funny because the AirPods Max have the same bug - you have to plug-in the cable a second time for the charging to start. It's ridiculous :D
