@jbz I think one argument this is missing the mark on in performance is that Electron apps require so much bloat each. Sure Slack doesn’t need 80MiB to show some messages, but the fact that each electron app requires its own Chromium engine loaded into memory is the real issue. I have native apps that take 5-10mb of memory, but the baseline for Electron is at least 300mb each!
