I’m not a Dr. Who fan by any means, I just saw some episodes here and there. I like David Tennant’s doctor a lot
I think Blink is prime TV and a great combination of horror, sci fi and suspense. Really really good episode. I still call those church angels Weeping Angels and you bet I don’t blink when I pass by them.

@catzilla I feel like TV overall has gotten immensely better over the past few decades -- or, at least, the best of it has. (There's presumably still terrible stuff out there which we never watch because nobody recommends it to us.) Not just technical production, but writing and acting too.
@woozle There are good and bad things about that, but I agree with it. TV episodes these days are the production value of a mini movie.
So instead of us getting a lot of mixed quality episodes for the shows we watch, we get 8-12 episodes 2-3 years apart (or more) of high production value, much better product. The downside is that waiting years to continue the story is very annoying and has not necessarily been a good idea (see Stranger Things)
