Two.
Three: Two genuine hippie chicks, captured (separately) on the porch at Comer House.
Four: Mr. Cool blows smoke for the camera.
The strange background in these photos is not a special effect; it's part of the scene. This is what serious smog actually looks like. Afternoon smog was a constant back then, blown in by coastal winds from L.A., two hours to the west.
Five: Here's something about the smog that I posted a couple of years ago:
Six: This set should have wrapped up the period 1967-1969, but yesterday as I was looking to start on stuff from 1969-1970, I found several dozen more rolls -- a mix of late 60s and early 70s -- that I haven't even seen yet. Urgh. I'll be posting these after a few out-of-sequence rolls from the early 1970s and a couple of special sets from 1969 (UCR campus strike; People's Park march).

Your photo archeology is fun to watch! The out of sequence rolls feel like a jump cut.
