Taanishi, I'm new here. I don't like social media. I think it's exhausting. But I'm also an artist so it's necessary for me to be visible even if I'd rather be a hermit.
I'm hoping this place can be a good place for me to be visible. And that I won't burn out.
I saw there's a #wipwednesday here so I offer my messy bead tray and my many WIP projects. Beaded things, and my first try at a spun cotton figure.

A black felt homemade bead tray. It's very messy. At the top is a figure in spun cotton, vaguely frog shaped. Below is a mound of purple seed beads, a little green tictac like case with green seed beads, two unfinished funky flat stitched flowers, a green lighter, a tictac like case of yellow seed beads, and various white threads, and small crane style scissors, all very higgledy piggledy.

@Phae One of our members and new directors at #socialbc is @artbysarahsammis. She shares a ton of wonderful art. One of the reasons I wanted to create a regional instance was because I thought regional instances would be the “right size” for artists to both have enough organic connection to find people interested in purchase, and to act as community gathering places, to make that “local artists” feel.

Which is a long winded way of saying, we’d love to have you at socialbc if you’re interested.
