@agiletortoise We said goodbye to ours of 16 years last summer. It's never easy. But as we had to remind ourselves, the final gift we can give them is a smooth, calm transition out. And as our vet said, her last day doesn't have to be her worst day. Look into services like Lap of Love, it was pricey but very worth it for the memory you'll carry after she passes.
