@the_rebel Yes, but normally a web finger lookup would discover my account and show it in search results. It wasn’t here.
Interestingly, now that I clicked on my account name in the post above, it’s showing up in search results.

@docpop @DocPop@loops.video I can follow your account from clicking the link you provided, but your profile is empty. My account seems to be in the same situation tho I can’t search for my account at all. @box464@loops.video
Edit: Clicking this link to my account brings it up, and even shows some videos. But search doesn’t work.

Normally, in the Fediverse, you only see content after you follow someone, i.e., content that is created after you follow them.

@box464@mastodon.social At least in my own account and my daughter's account, I didn't see anything, and only after following could I see all the new posts. 🤔
Oh, we use #Calckey and #Sharkey for the Fediverse. Is that related to your Mastodon?
@box464@mastodon.social that is, what i see with Sharkey
@the_rebel If someone connected to your instance has interacted with that profile (follow, boost, etc) then it’ll show up. I find it surprising tho that Mastodon.social doesn’t show their profile and data, they consume all. So maybe it is something Mastodon specific.
