Blech...messed up some redirects in my nginx config. I need to fix those later...

On that note, I'm trying to redirect all requests from blog.ohheybrian.com to ohheybrian.com/blog keeping the rest of the URL path unchanged.

Would it be better to use nginx to just redirect to the new domain? Or use proxy_pass to send it right to the application port on the server?

@brianb if you don’t care what URL search engines pick up, you can use proxy pass. If you want search engines to grab the new URL, a 301 redirect would work a lot better.
