@hamishcampbell Couldn't the same argument be used towards OMN, 4opens and your personal blog?

@hamishcampbell This reframes structural critique as psychological comfort and ideological purity.
That is not a rebuttal.
Naming incentives, power effects, and harm distribution is not avoiding compromise, it is part of responsible practice.
This post does not engage the critique, it reassigns it a motive and moves on.
@warmsignull it's about pointing the finger, for you to act on what you are insisting has to happen before I can keep acting. Where are the resources or is this ONLY circling talk when we need action?
Ideological can be lovely, but action is better.

@warmsignull Nop, the site and #OMN project are practical... you can find this by simply looking back - most of the things I talk about have and might still work.
From practice comes theory, it's the organic intellectual path in practice, read back for meany examples https://hamishcampbell.com/?s=biography
yes, we do need to compost this work #KISS
@hamishcampbell groups, and group identity are core. It's easier to belong than to do the hard work of being an individual identity because it's a liminal space. Editing the book I wrote related to that this month. Will likely self-publish for free after.
@knowprose I updated this post on this subject https://hamishcampbell.com/the-uncomfortable-truth/ send us a link to the book when done :)
@hamishcampbell of course. My thought on the book is that it's to share tools with an undefined segment of society that aren't in neat categories.
It's not meant to be popular, or a best seller.
So I will have in the book ways to donate if it was useful.
Reading up on OMN. It resonates with 'Free Culture' (Lessig) so far in my reading. Creative Commons, Free Software come to mind too.
I have some catching up to do. 🙃
