The ORA does not rank submissions competitively. We use a modified lottery to reflect open and fair principles. The winners are randomly drawn.

We received six eligible submissions presenting case studies from the humanities, medical and life sciences, social and behavioural sciences.

Submitted entries were screened for eligibility by a jury.

Three winners were then randomly drawn to win each 500 euros and present their case studies during the Celebrating Openness event later this year.
