@catsalad I have to admit 😹 at least it’s a “nice” looking face and not the grotesque faces I’ve seen on old paintings of cats 😹
Here’s the positives: nice big dark eyes, pretty good proportions, almost looks like a smile or “hey I’m down here!” exclamation 😹
The rest of the body looks good too 😹
I agree with someone mentioning “you think a cat will hold still?” 😹 most cats I sketch irl don’t hold still enough to get past their body position 😹 forget the face 😹 photography helps SO MUCH !😹

@catsalad all I can say is that sometimes rich ppl pay an artist for their name and not their work lolololol but it almost looks like it was a person’s face but they made a mistake and the artist was like “tell you what…”
