@carlmalamud @ai6yr I've been on a substantially delayed eastbound Zephyr (locomotive change in Sacramento), meaning dinner was served over Donner Pass. I was hesitant to get the Amtrak Steak.

“Name?”
“Donner, party of six.”
“We’ll call your name when your table is ready.”
…
“Hey, I’m with the Donner party. Just wanted to let you know we’re down to only five for tonight.”

“Hi. I’m with the Donner party. We’re down to four and honestly, aren’t that hungry now. You can take our name off the list.”
