One port, one cable, one Europe.

This holiday, unwrap the power of one: USB-C for all.

Yes, not just phones, tablets, and laptops. In three years, every charger will be under the same tree.

Because less waste, smarter choices, mean more for everyone, all year long.

@EUCommission except ... its impossible to tell what charger & cable has what power capabilities. So yes progress, but ... not progress. A small but valuable addition would be to require power ratings on all devices, and use a color coded style like we use for resistors, maybe with a braille style physical coding for low vision folks.

@dch @EUCommission it is WILD that an overly complex committee consortium dealio have not made some markings for this..

Oh wait, they have. I don't think I've ever seen them in use but it might be my failure in parsing low-contrast text.

@lawik in theory they are useful but as they are not mandatory they are useless. I’ve seen them on the back side of PCs but not on laptops nor anything else and never on the cables or power supplies @EUCommission

@lawik @dch @EUCommission part of the problem is that the markings are not mandatory
