🛰️🔒 Galileo began yesterday encrypting the E6-C signal component of satellites E14 and E18, the two spacecraft in eccentric orbits currently used for testing.

These signals will remain encrypted from now on, and we expect the rest of the constellation to follow in the coming months. This marks a key step toward Galileo Signal Authentication Service (SAS), the civil and free spreading code protection service.

🛰️🇵🇱 GPSPATRON & Gdynia Maritime University analyzed GPS/GNSS Interference in the Baltic Sea over the last 9 months.

⏱️ 84 hours of GNSS interference (mostly jamming) detected.
📆 This October had 6 jamming incidents for 29 hours. It's intensifying ↗️
✈️ No correlation between terrestrial GNSS and ADS-B-interference
🚢 Maritime jamming sources were identified, with interference signals exhibiting movement patterns consistent those of vessels.
