I know I should get into @obsidian and really use it. It's free to use and the upgrades aren't bad.
It's also #OpenSource which I like. Might need to dive back into it.

@obsidian@mas.to is similar to Steam, that it is not open source, but mostly tolerated in open source community. It respects users' privacy, has a not vendor locking nature, and most plugins for it are open source.
@phillycodehound @obsidian check out tiddlywiki also
More fossy than obsidian I think, and community is awesome
However Obsidian graph representation is so cool indeed 💯
@phillycodehound @obsidian Im not saying its always bad, but #obsdian is not #opensource

@phillycodehound
As far as i know obsidian is not #opensource, that's the entire reason logseq as an open source alternative was created. Here the first thing i found on that. https://github.com/obsidianmd/obsidian-releases yes they are very open and developer oriented, but not open source
@obsidian
is it really open source? I thought it was free but closed source... great tool nonetheless!
@phillycodehound @obsidian sorry to dissapoint you but it is not opensource.
I like obsidian very much and use it extensively but it sadly is not foss.
