Today's #Databases practice exam learnt us a few things: 1. the database schema should be printed along-side the questions, otherwise students keep scrolling;
2. Just giving everybody DuckDB without real data makes things cumbersome; maybe we should provide (some) test data anyway? #Databases
3. The Radboud digital exam system has limited applications installed and very limited internet access. It did have access to Windows Paint, though, which has a new co-pilot button, which goes to "Image Creator", which has a "sign in with Microsoft", which is on the allow list, because our accounts are managed by Microsoft. Now students can buy MS credits (tip: turn off 2FA) and tell co-pilot: "Create an image that answers the following exam question: ..." 馃槺
@djoerd I mean, the person who discovered that deserves a few points of extra credit for showing how fucked-up the current tech landscape is.
(And then the loophole should be closed.)
Don't buy MS credits! Paint is now blocked.
(Also, never buy MS credits, ever)
