Just in case you had the slightest doubt about what Elon Musk is doing with X/Twitter, look at this brief thread. He is one of the true monsters of our era, and he uses X/Twitter to guide his fellow right-wing extremists to ever-more-extreme places.

One thing that should happen is mass reporting to warn public institutions to stay away from that toxic platform heavily steered by opaque algorithms that pollute or even completely silence unwelcome voices.

Also, it’s so funny Elon Musk has to work so hard tweaking the algorithm to be brutally 100% free speech extremist..
Then there is little old us, who rely on people being the recommendation algorithm. Who would’ve thought you could have a social network where people drive the content.
