btw the issue I'm finding now is that not only am I getting double feeds (annoying), my fingers and hands are getting roughed up/dry/cuts from fanning thousands of pages a day - I'm using hand cream multiple times a day and it can't keep up (i could wear gloves? but a machine to do it would be better)
#scanning
@decryption one day you should come and visit work’s automated page turning scanner. You just sit back and watch. Generally though we can recommend using gloves with the phone touch capability works a treat.
@decryption This post reads a whole lot different if you didn't know it was related to scanning.
@decryption back in my youth where i had to fan through thousands of sheets of paper a day, the solution was silicon fingertips. Like a thimble but rubber. should be available at officeworks or something.
@bartreardon @decryption yeah, the table hands at printers use those.
@decryption not sure if there’s a term, but this happens to @foone all the time.
