@bagder ... Disclaimer: Written by AI 😤
@bagder Bug zero for the win. I first read this and thought it was about having the project on github 🙊
@bagder 0 open issues but 26 Pull Requests are still open? 🤔
@HugeGameArtGD yes, we don't require an issue for a PR to fix/add something
@bagder wow, this is actually impressive.
and now, **zero**
@bagder congratulations! it was such a relief to get to inbox zero in Flask, so I know how much effort this takes. Made it so much easier to make decisions and keep the count low moving forward too.
@bagder My question answered! 😂

 @bagder Super, congratulations.
@bagder HOW?
Tell me your dark secrets!
I’m actually serious — I’m struggling to manage issues on a much smaller OSS project. Have you ever written about how you handle issue management?
@b3n I don't think I've written specifically about issues, no. I have awesome contributors in the project and we always consider fixing issues top-prio. But also, to reduce the risk of new issues working on the foundation: readable code, more tests, fuzzing, documentation etc is also crucial.
@bagder That's very admirable. So many (big) Open Source projects just don't prioritize their "Issues" count/triage process (or think they don't have the resources) and it becomes an outdated and duplication-riddled hell. Looking at you, #Nextcloud.
@bagder Congrats! As a maintainer of a popular project, that's the most surreal but joyful feeling ever. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long 😅
@bagder when curl is just so amazing that there are no issues with it
@bagder Paging HackerOne. HackerOne, please report to the curl bugtracker. /s
@bagder jesus christ
@bagder After "Inbox Zero" now "Bug Stack Zero"?
@michal I know. And I hate those "stale bots" like hell. I'll actually sometimes produce MORE noise just to make those bots STFU.
The good measure here is "number of unresolved issues", which should be kept low; which coincides with "open issues" IFF you only close issues that actually ARE resolved.
