Is there a reasonably accurate way to identify what #fediverse platform a server is running?

@abraham if you want a quick way to view it my app #Fedicat has an instance browser that if recognized displays the platform and version based on the nodeinfo plus whatever it can glean from the mastodon api if that is supported
