i HATE truthiness
i remember a remark from someone i adore about writing python that looks like scala and it was an astute observation except that i don't write scala anymore and it's because python does not give you the tools to avoid very subtle mistakes
@hipsterelectron@circumstances.run my favorite example of truthiness is in Perl 0e0 will evaluate to true in string-y contexts and false in numeric contexts.
@hipsterelectron racket's is the only good version of it imo. everything is truthy except for #f, which is the only falsey value
