Completely agree. I've been a TTRSS user for more than a decade but I've been meaning to switch for a while, so installed @freshrss and imported all my feeds ... while cooking dinner last night, because it was that straightforward and quick. Been browsing using #capyreader today and am kicking myself for leaving the migration so long - two great #FOSS projects working brilliantly together. Very happy user.
@neil no problem, that's something I considered too. I do like being able to sync remotely though. Thinking about it further, I could use TailScale for that :)
@neil I've installed on PikaPods (which was very easy!) but I'm thinking I might self host it. I don’t suppose you can recommend any guides to doing this (or have any tips)?
I was thinking of using Docker (on a Mac Mini) but I've always been a bit wary of exposing local stuff to the perils of The Outside.
