I just realized that, while all the distances in this game are presented in metric (i.e., meters, kilometers, etc.), the speedometers in the vehicles are all in MPH (miles per hour).

@ramsey i strongly recommend getting the phantom liberty dlc too, and doing those missions in parallel.
Incredible game
@peach I have the DLC installed. I’m not sure whether I’m currently doing those missions in parallel or not.
@ramsey they start with a break-in to "Dogtown" with an epic 2-hour ish mission.
You're in for a treat if you haven't yet.
When you accidentally throw two grenades at a food vendor.
So, like, you can sell all the clothing you find, and it still shows up as usable in the wardrobe? Is there any reason to keep clothing in your inventory (besides those pieces that do offer buffs, such as armor and cyberdeck crowns)?
Rosa Walton’s “I Really Want to Stay at Your House” is the absolute best song in #Cyberpunk2077, by far. I will not be entertaining arguments to the contrary.
I’ve loved this song ever since I first heard it on #CyberpunkEdgerunners a couple years back.

I just found the Cyberpunk 2020 Rulebook sitting on a coffee table in the game!
When you’re trying to discreetly go through doorways, without the enemies seeing you, but the non-enemy NPCs do and either scream and run (just because you opened a door) or say things like, “You’ve got no right!” Luckily, this doesn’t tip off the enemies.
@ramsey never seen edge runners but yeah the year cp77 came out it was like #2 on my most listened list that year.
you are lucky you waited this long to play it. when it released it wasn't really a game. it wasn't even a tech demo. it was so bad its the only game sony removed from sale on playstation store until it was fixed.
@ramsey which path did you take? I did nomad female.
@ramsey i ended up keeping loads in inventory. Especially any special drops. But ye, I believe it all stays in your inventory.
@ramsey
The amount of times I've accidentally let off rockets in a populated area. Glad it's not just me 😁
@ramsey man, I loved that game! Enjoy it. I spent 100 hours, and I still need to come back for the DLC
This wasn’t a great time to discover this game is available, since I really should be working on my keynote and tutorial for #LonghornPHP. 😳
I wish there was an open world game that actually rewarded the player for trying to talk to all the people on the street by letting you have actual conversations with them, and maybe even some randomized little side quests and loot to go along with it. Has any game tried doing this with AI yet?
@ramsey Vaudeville is a mystery game where you talk to AI characters to try to solve a case. It's not open world or good. You can ask characters about PHP programming though.
@ramsey Quests in CDPR games are great, but for some reason they can't figure out triggers that feel natural.
For example there's "relationship overhaul" mod that allows you to meet with your partner at various restaurants and one of such meetings ends up with their kidnapping. You're technically still going to the pointer on the map, but the difference is significant. You're not going there "because quest will start" or someone rushed you with "I'm waiting here" call - meeting was your choice
