Feels weird using the #cancer word here in public. It's personally a very triggering word due to various friends having it, surviving it, and not.
Basal Cell Carcinoma seems to be 'common cancer' and touted as low risk, so I've been quite "relaxed" about it the last few weeks. I know others have it much worse.
But it's still a scary and emotional word. I feel like I should be okay with saying it out loud, just because it shouldn't be a taboo thing.
