and if that's what the cops are saying, well then, this informs us about how bold the cops in memphis feel
(although yeah, i'd kinda suspected that anyway)

A quote from someone (not verified) claiming to be the lynched student's cousin:
> "She said she seen the reports and it said that he was beaten and bruised. Both his arms were broken and he had a broken leg. I'm gonna let y'all do the math."
My white friends may not realize how rare it is for a Black person to use hanging as a means of suicide. For this reason. I don't buy what the cops are selling.

I don't have words to express the grief & rage this makes me feel, but at least I know there have been too many lives lost already. It has to end. We have to end it.
