its open source. its for open data. its open standards and open process too.
the core concept of dat is centered around version controlled data feeds.
its fully supports 5F.
- you can link to those feeds.
- you can subscribe to those feeds.
- you can have custom community logic to bundle N input feeds to produce 1 trusted moderated output feed from it.
- you can rolllback, because versioning is built into feeds at the core.
- you can have metadata feed about feeds to tag
...but of course, the trust/moderation goes for those metadata and tags as well.
if other people follow you directly they will always see, you moderate yourself.
if people follow those N feeds in, 1 feed out, then the moderation/curation applies here.
in the end dat is really basic flexible build8ng material and the rules and ways you can design on top of it are as flexible as it gets - very differe t from e.g activity pub or fediverse whoch is much more preconfigured
