Dunk says Craig Hope is being considered a surrogate spokesman for Newcastle. They keep trying to exonerate their management from the fact that they're still unable to sign the two strikers they need.
Meanwhile their stance towards LFC appears to to have softened somewhat, which may be a sign that they're preparing their own fans for the inevitable, making their club look like the wronged party, and making it look like the mess they made is all Isak's responsibilty.
@richardinsandy (which obviously makes it impossible for NUFC to sign very top strikers in arrangements convenient to them, from here on, with everybody watching and saying "This smear campaign could be against me the next time")

Yep, I saw that, and posted that earlier.
But I'm still not sure that NUFC will release Isak if they don't manage to sign a 2nd striker.
We'll see what NUFC can do, and what Liverpool offer them.
If it's true that NUFC offered Isak to leave to LFC on a smaller fee but next year, and Isak still rejected them that's a real tough one for them to digest.
Isak seems to be really, really mad at them, he seems personally offended. Nothing else explains it.
