I'm a process guy. I figured out a safe, repeatable, environmentally sustainable way to make little plastic doodads in the southern Appalachian mountains. But I'm not much of a sculptor.

Maybe that's where you come in!

I'm looking to hire someone to work with us as a sculptor for our toys and for client work. Your job would be to turn concept art or textual descriptions of characters into 3D models that we can injection mold.

If you can also help with mold design, that's a swell bonus.

We're open to local or remote candidates (with some legal caveats that I'll break down in the next post.)

If you're in GA, or can otherwise legally work in GA, I am down for local or remote workers, full time or part time W2.

If you're not in GA, I can still consider you on a contract (1099) basis. I don't mind this, but if you're not already accustomed to doing contract work it can be a real pain in the butt from a taxation/paperwork standpoint.

We're a small shop, pay will reflect that. I can likely only afford something in the $18 - $22/hour range (slightly more for contract roles, to cover the part of income tax that we wouldn't be paying.)

@ajroach42 Man, I wish you had gotten to me pre-COVID and my life got super busy. I used to design 3D printed Transformers components like adapters and connectors that let parts connect in ways that they were not meant to connect before (mainly, adapting Energon combiner ports and Titans Returns sets to be compatible with Combiner Wars toys but I was branching out).
