Next on my chronological list of consoles is the Sega MegaDrive/Genesis!

So does anyone want to recommend an emulator for me to study?
Or should I stick with Mednafen?

First though... I'll study several of GRUB's simpler subsystems...

@alcinnz i just like to play. I have a live USB loaded with games, and I boot my laptop plagued to the TV and use a joypad. Is like having the history of videogames in my hand

@rbonifaz O.K., to emulate the Sega Megadrive/Genesis their wiki indicates that Batocera uses LibRetro!

So this appears to be the relevant repository: https://github.com/libretro/Genesis-Plus-GX

I'll take your recommendation & study this!

@alcinnz @rbonifaz I was going to suggest libretro but it may be a rabbit hole if all you want is GG/MD/Gx.

@alcinnz Batocera uses more than one emulator per console. You normally don't know what you are using, but sometimes there games that work better in one console than another. Normally I newer consoles as ps2 or n64
