New, by me: Scammers are abusing a legitimate internal Microsoft account (used for sending critical account alerts and MFA codes to users logging in) to send spam and scam emails.
We first saw a flood of these emails last week, but anti-spam project Spamhaus says this has been going on for months.

@0xabad1dea@infosec.exchange My all time favourate in this genre are the websites that silently truncate passwords, so it looks like they've been accepted but to actually login you need to only type the first 8 characters...

@nemobis Many banks in Europe have restrictions on transferring to Palestinian banks. Palestinians can’t setup European bank accounts (that’s why people in Europe, etc., have to set up fundraisers for them, as GoFundMe, etc., won’t accept Palestinian banks).
(SEPA – Single Euro Payments Area – is a Europe-only payment network.)
