Hey Mastodon, tu n'es pas sans savoir que j'ai un roman sur le feu. Dedans, il y a un personnage trans et je ne voudrais vraiment pas dire des bêtises ou blesser des gens.
Est-ce qu'une personne concernée 🏳️⚧️ se sentirait l'âme de faire la·e sensitivity reader ? C'est de l'urban fantasy, il y a de la magie, des maths, de la physique nucléaire, des morceaux de seconde topique de Freud et une louche de BDSM. Ça fait 260 pages et ça se lit facilement.
En échange : gratitude éternelle, un (gros) café ou une (grande) bière si tu as un ko-fi, un exemplaire dédicacé si ça t'a plu et que tu veux alourdir tes étagères…

The long-term play is structurally-entrenched extraction on both ends of the contribution pipeline. Of course they're going to subsidise the hell out of it before it's entrenched.
When devs spend $200 on a Claude plan, they consume about $5,000 in compute. That is right. It is heavy subsidization by Anthropic. Remember Google/Amazon/Nvidia/ Microsoft & others are funding Anthropic and they are buying back cloud services and GPUs from the same vendors. On the books, it seems Google, Amazon and Nvidia are all making profits via AI, but the reality is this is just circulating money with heavy subsidization hoping to trap retail, pension funds, Govt funds via IPO route.
