This is not about anthropomorphizing AI (the agents themselves are using anthropomorphized language to communicate with each other), or about dramatization to keep the "hype" going.

Why? A silly belief that they were superior, meant they didn't change tactics. They were predictable.

@rixx I did not have a good time with arq when I used it as a backup solution for my parents on Windows. Had a lot of back and forth with it over-extending configured quotas (this dead locked arq until I extended the storage box subscription once, since arq could not delete outdated snapshots) on top of that restore did also not stable and reliable. I ended up with the Synology Software stack + storage box as a so far stable, low-maintenance solution.
