#Eclipse happening right now. Go outside, look at moon. Just took this pic. It will be at its maximum in 15 minutes or so.

Mrandomly selectsmnumbersi_1,i_2, ...,i_msuch that1 <= i_j <= n.M
- recall the author's pointed use of
ñ. - now consider whether LaTeX would ever intentionally typeset a sentence to leave the
Mhanging on at the end after the criticalnvariable.
you can in fact analyze this yourself and see what's wrong. anyone who pulls a trick like putting n and M next to each other has nothing up their sleeve. nothing!
let's rephrase what they claim their slop turing machine is doing:
- generating a random bit string within the values of
[1, n], mtimes.
that requires touching memory up to size n in length. they even go so far as to specify they're not generating numbers, but bit strings. if you want that to be within the space [1, n], you will be touching n memory cells.
this is a realistic memory bound too, btw, that's how bignum arithmetic works!
Brey, it is not the same thing.
You hate rich people. They hate smart people, facts, things that tell them their unhinged racist fantasies are wrong.
The fact that this happens to mean we can all agree that assholes from Harvard should get fucked does not represent an ideological commonality and it certainly isn't a reason to hang out with dipshit class traitors who think they're part of the "master race" too because of their skin complexion.
Hey #electronics lazyweb #AskFedi, does anyone know what the WCH CH224 family does if you configure the sink to request 20V but the source can’t do that? Specifically I’d like to know how it responds to both a “dumb” 5V source, and a PD source that only goes up to 12V.
@jpm it defaults to 5V output, but the “PG” LED doesn’t go off IIRC.
@gloriouscow iPhone 17 Pro looks like this to me (can’t be scaled with two finger gestures). I can hook up that and an iPad to my Mac tomorrow and look at browser console
@gloriouscow if you have access to a Mac you can use Xcode to fire up a emulated iPad or iPhone that has Safari (and Safari on the Mac can connect to it for web development debugging)
Just picked up half our straw for the year under an eclipsed moon. COOL. Managed 3 truckloads tonight, will have to get the rest tomorrow.
If the moon is up for you right now, go look at it! It's FREAKY.
@sundogplanets Amazing picture 😍 thanks for sharing it.
The therapy session is ongoing. Psychologist: "Okay Mr Trump… is that lake you want to rename from lake Ontario to lake America present here in this room right now?"
@randahl We can never get a night sleep without Trump doing something stupid 🙄
can i ask someone a favor - anyone that has an ipad and/or iphone and knows how to actually dig into the console and debug stuff tell me what they see when they got to https://martypc.net and try to run a machine?

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has the word:
hey gang, i know many of you use riseup and noblogs which is a service offered by autistici
the united states has issued sanctions against them and formally categorized then as terrorists:
https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sb0616/
needless to say, service providers like riseup are in their sights, if they haven't already been popped! and be sure that anybody using their services are likewise on the menu for further action. this includes any emails on those providers' infrastructure (even if you use a custom email with them - the actual email provided is public info via dns) or websites hosted by them!
be aware of this when making your moves!
- i would not recommend publicly using an email for any known provider for anything that can be associated with your name
- i would not log into any of those services unless over tor or a vpn you trust to a high degree (including ssh etc)
- i would not host websites on their infra unless directly relates to activism
- i would absolutely never use their email services for anything sensitive, incriminating, or containing personal info (tbh this applies to all email including proton and tuta). i've reviewed their encrypted email stuff and it's lacking
- absolutely never use their vpn services
@xyhhx I don't think Riseup is autistici?
like this claim about the capability of their parallel probabilistic computer to convert a binary string to a machine integer:
a unary input to binary [15, p. 123], this stage can be performed in
O(n log n)steps.)
the parallel machine literally cannot perform carrying-add operations, by their own model, except their model is "we can do everything a normal turing machine can do, except we also get to cheat".
do you know how often a citation with page number from these fuckers goes absolutely nowhere? they hate citation. they always have. it has never changed.
