One of the many good things Dolly Parton gave the world was her Imagination Library, which gives free, age-appropriate books every month to children from birth until they turn five years old.

Another is the Dollywood Foundation, established by Parton to decrease high school dropout rates in her home county and fund local educational coverage and scholarships.

It is initiatives like that which inspire me the most. All of us can work towards bettering the world. We do not have to wait at the sidelines for exceptional people to.

Tried to compile Fil-C on my Linux box and it froze the computer with out-of-memory; didn’t know that was possible! I guess 16 GB isn’t enough these days, it compiles LLVM.

@jmm @Anarcat I think the same is mostly true of core `llm` as well, the OpenAI API is the de-facto standard and can be used with plenty of providers + local models (like how "s3" doesn't just mean AWS anymore). But plugins like llm-anthropic are clearly provider-specific.
