@zzt Heavy Water shots will be the next big thing at Silicon valley parties. The perfect thing to wash the taste of soylent shake and fascist boot from mouths.
At this point, I will take a shitty stick figure drawing over an AI generated image any day. Put in some goddamn effort people.

love this. we made up a property of an algorithm. wouldn't it be so great if this existed?
@TheBreadmonkey I have never knowingly watched a Jason Statham movie. I haven’t been actively avoiding him, the kind of movies he makes just don’t do stuff for me that much 🤷🏻♂️
I'M A FUCKING BEE KEEPER *karate chop*
Incidentally, I just placed an online supermarket delivery order via Amazon (because I need a food drop for stuff I can't carry upstairs right now) and their unit price calculations on groceries are broken, looks like a multiply instead of divide error to go from pack size to price per kg. Feels like AI-induced enshittification has hit the big boys.
@cstross Their price per oz has been off for many products a long time. I have wondered if it’s a text field rather than a calculation. I saw one yesterday that was off by more than a decimal place. It might be getting worse as well.
Hello! I need a room in East London BY SEPTEMBER for a month, possibly two. I'm planning to move in with two others soon but that won't happen before I lose this place.
I need it to be cheap and to have wifi, and the basic living appliances - fridge, freezer, oven, washing machine - but otherwise don't really need much except somewhere to put my stuff (piled high in my room is ok).
I will mostly be in my room quietly working and organising the next move, but I am shockingly lovely in person and will be very easy to live with
Boosts / passing on / whatever welcome, thank you

@dilmandila There are lots of plants in the big Crassula family, including jade plant (money tree). Your little one might grow up to be a jade plant or a cousin, but it’s going to be easy to care for. If a leaf gets knocked off, just push it into the soil and the leaf will put out very fine roots and a new one will grow. Magic!
@kate Like, instead of seeds it sprouts from a leaf? That is wild!

Oof, just deleting all of that data with seemingly no way for some of the affected orgs to get their data back is just horrible.
Microsoft made a quiet change to a popular software grant. Small nonprofits lost everything.
