here's the magnet link for the Amnesty report on transphobes that Amnesty is now actively issuing DMCA notices against, because they've moved from being victims of Rowling to being active collaborators
@breakin everyone is scanning curl all the time. There is no particular pause or moment in time where nothing is happening...
@bagder Right, I was thinking that if you scanned before making releases new bugs (that ai can find) will not go out into releases at least. But if people use master then ofc there is no time when nothing happens, then you need to scan before committing things to master and that sounds painful.
Highlights of the library will be posted online.
@BOOKHOUSE How many revolving doors and drop-floor traps will the library have?
Nyooooom! 🐈⬛

@davidgerard Oh, it would be terrible if magnet:?xt=urn:btih:7645b71edaf7418aec5a8ed8147579fac6cd31f4 started spreading and became well-seeded, we can't have that.

classic macOS sapi5 32 and 64-bit voices, with alex voice, is live. it came from the old Leopard OS. get it here...
@davidgerard Alejandra Caraballo writes that Amnesty apparently have never heard of the Streisand effect, but what if they *have*? Most charitable interpretation.
@hllizi not actively going out of their way to act like pieces of shit is not necessary then
this sort of "ahaha they are actually being very clever" comment is fatuous and tedious
@suetanvil
You can get them in 6 packs now

Welp, that tracks.
Afternoon!
@nileane I've found "prefer" means "most of the time but randomly we're still gonna shoot you over to AI just to mess with you"
@charliemchapman oh wow really? I've been lucky then 😅
On vient de me faire découvrir un nouveau boulot : développeur full stack no code.
We are JUST scratching the surface of what’s possible with social technology.
Do you have a form-breaking idea for an app or digital platform that connects or informs people?
We’re offering you three months to organize your thoughts:

*sigh*…
I’m sighing because the “why are you critical of capitalism if you own an iPhone” is such an extremely cliché argument that, believe you me, I hear every freaking day as a political activist.
I’m sighing because it’s the most superficial, plain, and uninteresting way that most people have for dismissing people who have actual things to say and denounce.
I’m sighing because it’s a cop-out counter-argument that’s used repeatedly to disqualify valid points made by marginalized communities.
@brentsimmons, these aren’t tech choices being criticized, they’re political choices. Political choices made in a time of far reaching fascism should be criticized widely and openly, especially by those most impacted.
Hear those criticisms and argue against them for what they are instead of cheaply disqualifying those who make them on the basis that, yes, they are constrained to live in a capitalist society, and to themselves own/use products of that society as we all do.
@nileane @brentsimmons It's the equivalent of a thought-terminating cliche. It stops thought, it inhibits the ability of people to imagine a different future.
Also, people don't seem to understand that "socialism" doesn't mean "you can't have a cell phone because there will be no cell phones as you'll just be eating gruel in a colorless, world."
You can have your cell phone, and healthcare, and social security, and social housing, too. You can have it all, the gruel is optional.
if pressed hard enough, they can do anything
