Pain remains pretty unrelenting. When it was more bearable this morning, I went out in the rain, and saw a very ragged red-shouldered hawk (missing a bunch of tail feathers, poor thing), and a wonderful flock of warblers around the pond/vernal pool! Including the first northern parula I've encountered this year, heard not seen. I think I can keep that song in my head, they go zeeeeeeUP!

Maybe I should just install ssh on my phone, and bring a decentish keyboard and call it a day. More portable, lighter than a laptop, and lets me do pretty much anything, 'cos I can SSH home.
