On the subject of batshit movies, I am *totally* here for the idea of one big budget Hollywood AI-generated blockbuster in particular:
"When Crungus met Loab"

@farah Oops. Sure.
Nope. I might not today. I got a couple of vaccines on Wednesday and feel wretched.
@Fishercat Yeah I feel ya
@mhoye that looks lile an SFP+ connector but I've never seen one with that little metal retainer attached to the fiber. What's wrong with it?
@gabrielesvelto That little metal bar is usually closed up against the module, so you can disconnect the fiber first and then pull the SFP module out separately, without pulling on the fiber. In this picture that clip has been wedged into the fiber latches, so the fiber isn't set properly, but also can't be removed, and the SFP won't seat right either. I think whoever did this did this will need to cut the blue plastic bits and re-terminate the fiber if they want to keep the SFP.

The funniest thing about those idiots that tell you they have blocked you, are cowards as they don't want to see your response

This photo of @KevBot randomly popped up on my desktop so I would like to take this opportunity to once again call out that he is completely delusional for thinking my little hotdog guy looks nothing like him.
I’m spending January 31 through February 6 in Paris, mostly for work. I haven’t been to Paris since 2012, and although I know it’s cold and dark, I want to enjoy the pedestrianization. I’ve been to the Louvre. Please recommend me places to go, walk, vibe, learn, and eat.
@rmondello Oh, when I was last in Paris I walked 20 miles a day. It's totally my way of seeing the city. I'll try to collect some goto sites for you.

I'm back from #Podfest26 in Orlando. This is now my favorite #podcasting conference, and I'd like to share some thoughts!
How many people here would be interested if I did a digital security/privacy advice blog somewhere?

On Wednesday, the FBI executed a search warrant at the Fulton County election center.
Anna Bower, Eric Columbus, L.T. Edwards, Michael Feinberg, Molly Roberts, and Benjamin Wittes look at what we know–and don't know–about the search.

@da_667 I want to see the report statistics from the phishing training provider company (eg KnowB4) when I let Phisherman Georg loose on their training and they say the training link was clicked 100,000 times but the company only has 5000 employees.

Get in. We're messing up Melania's Amazon search results
This weekend, Amazon is premiering its $40 million Melania Trump documentary. It already seems to be a flop.
But we're going to take it one step further by messing up Melania's Amazon search results. Specifically, we're going to amplify the paranormal erotic thriller novel Melania: Devourer of Men so it ranks higher than her movie. {MORE}
