@aburka @GeePawHill I've fixed almost every appliance in my house. Most annoying was replacing the micro switches in the microwave. It is the newest in the house. Stove got new ignitors before 5 years. dishwasher a new thermister. Why is it the older appliances to much longer to break?
@davesomebody @aburka I'm not thinking it was cuz their orgs were so moral. Rather, I think they thought that it was their selling point? Like, idunno, somehow doing shitty work and planned obsolescence was just not a thing yet.
Took a lot of gymnastics with a black jacket to shade out all of the light from inside the plane cabin. And a 3 second exposure with a phone camera in a high vibration environment is not easy.
But i got something resembling the shot. There's a bit of motion blur despite my best efforts but under the conditions I'm not complaining

@farah Theosophical Society co-founded by Blavatsky. Not really a great resume item but most of Theosophy belongs to her, she is who comes up in discussions about it and who most interested persons read.
