I'm thinking *a lot* about "Implicit Feudalism" these days - the idea that mods and admins (in the #Fediverse and elsewhere) are like feudal lords, wielding the only true power in online spaces - the power to silence other's voices.
That leaves regular users to be like serfs - bound to the land with no real power to make change besides 1) petitioning their lord, or 2) maybe leaving the lord's estate (if that's even possible).

FramaPDF (qui vous propose les logiciels SignaturePDF et BentoPDF) permet maintenant l'édition de PDF directement dans le texte du PDF. Très pratique quand on a juste une micro-correction à faire 😉
Ca ne fonctionnera pas toujours avec des PDF complexes, mais ça peut faire gagner beaucoup de temps, donc n'hésitez pas à tester !

@timnitGebru It's particularly frustrating that the academic misconduct is most likely completely unnecessary to OpenAI's goals. First, the LLM is most likely capable of providing the correct references if you prompt it to do so (at least that's what Ive heard, from people who have received neat proofs from an LLM and have asked it to cite instances in the literature where that argument was used before). Second, adequately giving credit to people doesn't make novel proofs of conjectures any less exciting to mathematicians; doing it right would serve their PR purposes equally well.

Ayer dije sí al piso y hoy estoy de lleno en el mundo de las hipotecas ("¡a tipo fijo!"), odiando la subida del Euríbor y hablando con mucha gente por teléfono (hasta una broker hipotecaria alemana que conocía el pueblo donde me voy y sus particularidades). Ya me han hecho una buena oferta en un banco, pero mañana voy a otro a ver si me la mejoran, y mientras espero que me llame el mío y que la broker haga su magia. A ver cómo sale todo, pero pinta a que en un mes me he mudado.

@benpate I think one thing is encouraging more real world entities to implement servers for their staff, members, or citizens. The ACM, archive.org, SDF are good examples.
@benpate a second thing is encouraging big volunteer-run servers to become coops. Cooperatives are democratically operated and supported. Nivenly, social.coop, cosocial.ca, data.coop are all cooperatives.
